2.0 VFX cost is $75 Million, claims the international Variety Cover

The famous international magazine Variety recently gave 2.0 the cover page where it claimed the film's VFX was created on the cost of $75 Million.

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer and director Shankar’s 2.0 has been making news ever since it was announced. After multiple delays due to exhaustive VFX and Post Production work, 2.0 seems to be finally back on track.

The famous international magazine Variety recently gave 2.0 the cover page where it claimed the film’s VFX was created on the cost of $75 Million. This same Cover was shared by director Shankar and actor Akshay Kumar on their respective social medias.

The fee $75 million roughly converts to Rs 544 crore, which is an unbelievable amount to be spent on VFX. Akshay Kumar further revealed that 3000 technicians across the globe have worked extensively to make the film possible.

The film is a follow-up to Rajinikanth’s 2010 sci-fi film Enthiran aka Robot. The film till now is India’s most expensive film and has been completely shot in 3D.

After a long delay, the film finally locked a 29 November release date which was now confirmed officially by the director. The first teaser of 2.0 is due to release on 13 November morning 9 am.
